Sargent Road Farmhouse
Non-Profit Gardens
Sargent Road Farmhouse Gardens, we are learning to work with nature to create a thriving, sustainable ecosystem that benefits both our community and the environment. Our gardens are designed with purpose and care, embracing the principles of companion planting to ensure our plants grow in harmony while fostering a habitat for wildlife.

Creating Monarch Waystation habitats, we provide a sanctuary for pollinators like butterflies and bees, essential allies in maintaining the health of our planet. Beyond growing fresh, wholesome produce, our gardens are a space where biodiversity flourishes, offering a haven for wildlife and a place of learning and inspiration for visitors.

We’re proud to give back to our community by donating a percentage of our sales to Sargent Road Nature Park, ensuring green spaces are preserved and enjoyed for generations to come. Through innovative methods like hydroponics and traditional practices like the Three and Four Sisters Gardening techniques, we aim to strike a balance between modern efficiency and age-old wisdom.

Whether you visit to explore, learn, or support, we invite you to join us in celebrating the beauty and abundance of nature at Sargent Road Farmhouse Gardens. Together, we can grow a greener, healthier future!

Plant and Produce sales
When our roadside stand comes to life we offer a beautiful selection of live plants grown with care in our gardens. From flowers to herbs, these plants are perfect for enhancing your own green spaces while supporting a greater cause.
All proceeds from our plant sales are dedicated to funding educational workshops, empowering others to learn about sustainable gardening and wildlife conservation, and contributing to local park initiatives.
While our garden is primarily cultivated to serve dedicated members, this stand is our way of sharing its bounty and vision with the community. We invite you to stop by, take home a piece of our garden, and join us in growing something beautiful—together!
Tower Garden
The Tower Garden Classroom Project at Sargent Road Farmhouse is an innovative and transformative initiative that brings the wonders of gardening, nutrition, and sustainability directly into the classroom.
Through the use of Tower Gardens, students of all grades have the unique opportunity to engage in hands-on learning experiences that cultivate a deeper understanding of the environment and healthy living. Our curriculum is carefully designed to align with each student's age and learning abilities, guiding them through a journey of growth and knowledge. As students plant, nurture, and harvest their own crops, they develop a sense of ownership and responsibility, while also fostering a connection to the natural world. This project not only promotes educational outcomes but also encourages holistic well-being by incorporating elements of therapeutic gardening and mindfulness.
With the Tower Garden Classroom Project, we are sowing the seeds of sustainability, nourishing young minds, and empowering the next generation to become stewards of our planet.
